Cathy joined MHAGH as Executive Director in April, 1992. Since then she has assisted the organization in developing 365 units in 10 properties and raising more than $80 million in grants and equity for these developments. Cathy holds a B.A. in Anthropology and Urban Studies from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
José joined MHAGH as Director of Property Management in 2007. Since then, he has been responsible for all aspects of MHAGH's property management division, including marketing, leasing, budgeting, fiscal management, maintenance functions, resident safety and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations of HUD and LIHTC housing programs. José has more than 20 years of property management experience and holds the following certifications: Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), Public Housing Manager (PHM), Affordable Housing Manager (AHM) and Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS).
Sarah joined MHAGH in 2011. Since then, she has been responsible for harmonizing various aspects of MHAGH's operations and real estate development activities including funding applications, grant writing, data collection, reporting, and project management. Sarah holds a BA in English from New York University and an MPA from the University of Connecticut.
Mary joined MHAGH in August 2000 and is responsible for occupancy and compliance standards for MHAGH's portfolio. Her past and present work experiences included housing marketing and property and asset management. Mary holds a M.S. in Housing and Consumer Sciences from Colorado State University.
Mary joined MHAGH in 1996 as Administrative Assistant. Her responsibilities include clerical activities, data entry, and office organization, ensuring the office operates smoothly. As the first point of contact for many residents, clients, and partners, she delivers exceptional customer service to all who call or come through the door.
Deborah joined MHAGH in 2015 as manager for our Education + Resident Initiative Programs. Her primary focus is on increasing community impact through Leadership Programs, First Time Homebuyer Education, Homebuyer Readiness Counseling, Rental Housing Education, Credit Awareness and Repair counseling, and education on financial stability and money management. Deborah has many years of experience in housing programs and all aspects of consumer lending.
Wilma joined MHAGH in October 2007. She is responsible for overseeing the management of the properties in Simsbury, Glastonbury, Windsor Locks, and Manchester. She is a certified Specialist in Housing Credit Management® (SHCM®) and knowledgeable in Section 8 and Energy Assistance programs.
Holly Baron joined MHAGH in 2015 as Controller. Holly has close to 30 years of experience as an accountant, including nine years as an Assistant Finance Director for the Hartford Housing Authority and three years as an outside auditor. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Post University in Waterbury.
